Frida Gustavsson's modeling career took off in 2009. Then, the young model opened the Fall Valentino Haute Couture show in Paris and caught the eyes of top designers and fashion journalists. From that point on, her modeling career started to rise and during the Fall/Winter 2010-2011 season she walked on no less than 70 catwalks, among them Alexander McQueen, Carolina Herrera, Etro, Dsquared2, Missoni, Nina Ricci, Ralph Lauren, Chanel, Christian Dior, Fendi, Burberry Prorsum, Calvin Klein, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano, Just Cavalli, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton and Marc by Marc Jacobs.
Though Gustavsson did not manage to repeat her achievement, her appearances on the catwalks were still mesmerizing. During Spring of 2012, she opened the Theirry Mugler show and closed the Carolina Herrera, McQueen and Prabal Gurung shows. During the Fall 2012 season, she worked it as the beautiful closure for the Armani Prive' fashion show in Paris.
Apart from fashion shows, Frida Gustavsson was photographed for many successful ad campaigns throughout the years. Prada, Anna Sui, Etro, Marc Jacobs, Max Mara, H&M, Just Cavalli and Spormax are just a few of them.
During those campaigns, Gustavsson posed for some of the world’s best photographers: Patrick Demarchelier photographed her for the H&M Summer 2011 campaign, Mario Sorrenti was behind the camera on the Jill Stuart Summer 2012 campaign, and on during the Just Cavalli photoshoot, Gustavsson posed for photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
The fact that Gustavsson is familiar with the fashion world, made her want to become more than just a pretty face. Her dream is to become a fashion stylist. Her main interests are creating patterns and product design.
