Rocking the Runway
Josephine Skriver debut season as a professional model was during fall 2011. Her big break that season came when she opened for Alberta Ferretti and closed for Prada. Other than those two highlights, she walked for Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Calvin Klein, Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, and many more prominent designers.
By the spring 2012 Fashion Week season, Josephine Skriver’s name was already familiar. Amongst many appearances on the runways of established brands, she opened and closed the House of Holland show, was the first face at both the Adam and Jaeger shows, and closed the show for Ports 1961. Skriver was also very popular during the Fall 2012/13 season, in which she walked for John Galliano, Valentino, Lanvin, Cacharel, and Paco Rabanne.
Cover Girl
Despite her young age, Josephine Skriver has already appeared on the covers and editorials of several top fashion magazines. The talented top fashion photographer Steven Meisel shot her for the cover of Italian Vogue and Greg Kadel manned the camera when Skriver posed for the German version of the magazine.
She also appeared on the cover of Danish Elle in a sexy, yet innocent, photograph.
Fashion Forward
For Josephine Skriver, her successful modeling career hasn’t replaced her love for soccer. She loves to play the sport every chance she gets. However, her gorgeous blond hair, piercing blue eyes, and perfect figure makes us think that she truly belongs on the catwalk.
