Kasia Struss debut season was Spring 2006. She walked for Miu Miu and Louis Vuitton, but most of all - drew the attention of fashion journalists and magazine editors. One year later, she opened the runway shows of best fashion labels like Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, Jil Sander, Balenciaga, Giambattista Valli and more.
Once Struss became a familiar face on the best fashion stages, more top designers casted her for their own shows. Here is a partial list of designers Struss worked with: Armani Privé, Valentino, Prada, Gucci, Dior, Givenchy, Cavalli, Hilfiger, Chanel, Elie Saab, Balenciaga and the list goes on and on.
During the Spring/Summer 2008 season, Struss was the most booked model, walking a total of 75 shows. The Fall 2009 season was almost as successful, when the Polish model appeared in 71 shows. During Spring/Summer 2010 season Kasia walked about 61 shows and was ranked number 8 on FTV's First Face countdown.
Although 2010 and 2011 were a bit slower for Struss on the catwalks, she managed to open and close some of the best fashion shows. She opened the Roberto Cavalli and No. 21, Viktor & Rolf, Diesel, Yves Saint Laurent and other runway shows in Paris, Milan and New York fashion weeks.
Kasia Struss’ first ad campaign was for Pringle of Scotland in 2007. Photographer Steven Meisel was behind the cameras while Struss posed along with Irina Kulikova and Denisa Dvorakova. The same year, she became the face of Jil Sander and photographed for Dolce & Gabbana and for Valentino ad campaigns.
During 2009 Struss became the face of Chloe’ and in 2010 she was chosen to be Jil Sander’s face once again. 2011 was also a very fruitful year in terms of ad campaigns. Struss was chosen to be the face of Miu Miu, and also starred in Kenzo and Bottega Veneta Fall ad campaigns.
When she is not on the runway, Kais likes to spend time shopping. Usually she is looking for unique vintage items for her own personal collection.
