Rocking the Runway
After her catwalk debut, it was all uphill for Kati Nescher. She’s walked in countless shows for a myriad of top designers. However, the most F/W Fashion Weeks have been some of her best.
Not only did she make appearance son major runways, such as Balenciaga, YSL, Alexander McQueen, Lanvin, Miu Miu, and Givenchy, she also closed the Valentino and Nina Ricci shows, and most notably, was handpicked by Karl Lagerfeld to open the Chanel show in Paris.
Ad Star
Due to her massive success on the runway, fashion insiders wanted Nescher’s face to appear in the glossies. The famous French fashion house, Louis Vuitton, chose Kati to appear in their dreamy Spring 2012 campaign alongside top-model Daria Strokour, shot by notable photographer Steven Meisel.
Furthermore, Nescher was chosen to be the face of McQ’s Spring 2012 beautiful black and white campaign, shot by David Sims and she starred in the Pringle of Scotland ad alongside model Suvi Koponen, shot by David Benjamin Sherry.
Fashion Forward
After her spring success, it is clear that Kati Nescher has joined the big leagues as a top player. Her age is no obstacle, because her talent and stunning looks shine through. Although she has not yet reached the heights of Kate Moss or Gisele Bundchen just yet, her name has jumped to the top of the most in demand models list. It is no surprise she was the busiest model in this past New York Fashion Week, walking a total of 24 shows!
