Lara Stone's runway debut was during the Fall 2006 Givenchy Couture show in Paris. Throughout her career, the Dutch model collaborated with the best designers and brands, among them Miu Miu, Alberta Ferretti, Hermes, MaxMara, Fendi, Christopher Kane, Giles, Marc Jacobs, Chanel and more. Stone was fortunate to open and close many of those prestigious shows. Soon, she became one of the most wanted models on the catwalks, and the gap she has between her teeth became one of her greatest trademarks.
Stone's big breakthrough came back in 2006 when Terry Richardson photographed her for a Sisley ad campaign. Once this campaign was published, Style.com featured Stone as one of the seasons' rising stars. During the early 2000s, the Dutch model was photographed for dozens of ad campaigns. She was chosen to be the face of Givenchy (2007), Calvin Klein Jeans (2007), Just Cavalli (2008), Jean Paul Gaultier (2009) and others. In addition, she was photographed for many ad campaigns and gained lots of popularity off the runways.
In 2009, the Dutch top model made a fashion history signing an exclusive deal with Calvin Klein Inc. making Stone the face of Calvin Klein Jeans, Calvin Klein Collection and ck Calvin Klein. This was one of the super-rare occasions that a fashion house chooses the same model to present three of its successful brands at the same time.
Lara Stone is currently married to the British comedian, David Williams.
