Lily has since been featured in countless editorials, advertising campaigns, and numerous covers working with some of the most reputed photographers and designers in the industry. And landed her first British Vogue cover when she was 16 years old! Lily has also appeared on the cover of fashion titles including American and Japanese Vogue -- as well as having walked the catwalk for Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Hermes, Galliano, Louis Vuitton, Jean Paul Gaultier and Marc Jacobs.
While 2012, brought supermodel status as Lily joined the supers; Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Lily Donaldson, Karen Elson, Jourdan Dunn, Stella Tennant and good pal Georgia May Jagger on stage for the 2012 London Olympics Closing Ceremony -- dressed to impress in an Erdem gold embroidered and lace cocktail dress. It was stunning!
But Lily is much more than just a model. Born to an artist and jewelry designer mother, art has always featured heavily in Lily’s life. She studied history of art at England’s prestigious Cambridge university and admits that working as a model perpetually transports her into new environments which broaden her perceptions daily.
“One day I might be in Dior couture watching paper butterflies fall in a room, or faking death in a crystal McQueen jumpsuit in a ballroom in Paris, or hanging off the side of a palace in India for a Tim Walker photoshoot.” Lily describes in British Vogue.
She has also woken her imagination by starring in a string of movies, including her first role at the age of seven for a friend’s short, Attitude Adjuster, St Trinian's (2007), and Terry Gilliam’s film The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus (2009), in which she starred alongside the late Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, and Jude Law.
