In 2004, Lindsay Ellingson made her debut appearance on the prestigious catwalks of John Galliano, Christian Dior, and Lanvin at Paris Fashion Week. She was the first face to grace the runway for each of these magnificent shows, and immediately became popular among designers, photographers, and fashion journalists.
Along her career, Ellingson has collaborated with many great names in the fashion world, to include Viktor & Rolf, Christian Lacroix, Nina Ricci, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Chanel, Armani Prive, Elie Saab and many others.
In 2008, Ellingson walked the annual Victoria's Secret show for the first time. One year later the American model signed a three-year contract with the lingerie label, and has continued to model for one of the world's top lingerie shows year upon year.
Asides from her fruitful runway career, Ellingson has also starred in numerous advertising campaigns. In 2005, rumors were circulating that Ellingson was to be pictured for the new Christian Dior campaign, but eventually, the brand revealed Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen as the ad star.
Though Ellingson was photographed for a Charles David campaign in 2005, her big contract was in 2006, when she was photographed by Steven Meisel for Dolce & Gabbana. The same year she also featured in a DKNY campaign.
Other campaigns with the American stunner include D&G (2008), Tommy Hilfiger (2008), M.A.C (2009), and more.
Ellingson has an immensely successful modeling career, but when she is not busy on the runways or in the middle of a fashion shoot, she likes listening to classical music and watching ballet.
