Marie Piovesan made her debut appearance on the catwalk, opening the Céline Spring 2012 show at Paris Fashion week at the age of 26. Her severe Parisian beauty and powerful walk got the highest-flying fashion designers in a spin, and Piovesan came off a stellar Fall 2012/13 showing, during which she opened for Rick Owens, closed for Louis Vuitton, and appeared on the runways for YSL, Balenciaga, Lanvin, and Versace, amongst many more.
A year later, after her debut season, Piovesan has ruled the runway for the Spring 2013 fashion season walking over 50 shows!
Still a new face in the model world, Marie Piovesan has worked on a few advertising campaigns. She shared the Céline Spring 2012 campaign with model Stella Tennant and currently features on the Marc Jacobs Fall 2012/13 campaign shot by Juergen Teller.
When she’s not busy running between catwalks, Piovesan is occupied with shooting for glossies, and has appeared in editorials for Fiasco, Interview, Pop, Vogue Italia and the second preview image for the debut issue of Carine Roitfeld’s highly anticipated new magazine, CR Fashion Book.
Piovesan has also featured in a short film for W Magazine directed by Axel Lindahl, entitled “Double Portrait.”
