Naomi’s breakthrough came after she moved to New York, where she signed with Premier. And has since modeled for the likes of Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander Wang, and Balenciaga amongst others. Her severe gaze and distinguishable features have twice-graced the cover of Argentine Harper’s Bazaar, while her beauty, fashion, and art editorials include Vogue Russia, Pop magazine, Italian Elle, i-D magazine, Muse, Dazed & Confused. Most recently, Naomi was captured sporting a number of casual looks for Nasty Gal’s online November 2012 lookbook.
Speaking in an interview with the Telegraph, Naomi explains that painting and drawing backstage, has been a means to keeping her spirit and balance in life, and away from always being the picture in the frame. With each catwalk season, Naomi is not only walking for top designers, she ia also being commissioned by top glossies to draw and paint backstage for editorials and even the dsigners and models themselves! Due to high demand, Naomi even has her very own website featuring her art projects. And we’re sure the future holds bigger and brighter fashion works for the elegant and exotic model.
