Shortly after Sasha Pivovarova signed with IMG Models, she made her debut runway appearance opening the Fall 2005 Prada show in Milan. After this show, she signed a three-year exclusive advertising contract with the Italian label.
Apart from Prada, Pivovarova has worked with almost every top designer. She has strut her perfect physique on the catwalks of DKNY, Chanel, Balenciaga, Rodarte, MaxMara, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Christian Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier ,and many others. She has presented couture fashion as well as ready-to-wear collections, and step-by-step climbed to the top of the fashion world.
Pivovarova's modeling career also includes many advertising campaigns. Many fashion houses – among them Prada, Giorgio Armani, and Alberta Ferretti – chose her to feature as the face of their campaigns. In addition, she posed during advertising campaigns for brands like Chanel (2009), H&M (2009), Kenzo (2010), Armani (2011), Hugo Boss (2011), and many others.
When she is not on the catwalk, at a rehearsal, or modeling in another exotic destination, Pivovarova likes to spend time with her husband, Igor Vishnyakov, and young daughter – Mia Isis. She also likes to paint and draw. According to Pivovarova, she turns almost everything to a canvas, including hotels and casting papers. Her paintings have been displayed in art galleries in Paris and New York. The Russian model has also worked on illustrations for Karl Lagerfeld's book based on Russian fairy tales.
