In 2005, the fashion world got its first taste from Tanya Dziahileva. Her debut on the catwalks was during the Spring runway shows of Prada, Alexander McQueen, Chanel and Chloe in Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks. Shortly after, Dziahileva was announced as one of the season’s most wanted models.
She continued collaborating with top designers, and in 2007 walked for Vera Wang, Christian Dior, Hermes and Givenchy during New York and Paris Fashion Weeks. During the same season, she had the honor of closing Christian Lacroix, Celine, Thakoon, Philip Lim and Valentino in New York and Paris.
Between 2008 – 2010, Dziahileva was fortunate to walk for some of the most prestigious designers. She took part in Elie Saab, John Galliano, Viktor & Rolf, Sonia Rykiel, Lanvin, Emanuel Ungaro and many more. Apart from the ready-to-wear fashion shows, Tanya Dziahileva graced also on the haute couture catwalks. She presented the collections of Armani Prive, Gaultier, Dior, Chanel and Valentino and many other luxurious designs.
Tanya Dziahileva had incredible success on the catwalks, but also managed to receive many applications to star on ad campaigns. Her first campaign was in 2006 for Hugo by Hugo Boss. Dziahileva posed alongside stunning Agyness Deyn in one of the brand’s most popular campaigns. The same year, Juergen Teller photographed the Russian model for Yves Saint Laurent ad campaign. Following the two successful campaigns, Tanya Dziahileva became the face of French fashion house – Jean Paul Gaultier.
In 2007, Tanya Dziahileva continued to be one of the most popular top models in the world. In the beginning of the year she posed for Steven Meisel during a photoshoot for Lanvin. Shortly after, she signed a fragrance contract with Nina Ricci, and replaced Carmen Kass as the new face of Michael Kors.
During 2008, Steven Meisel photographed her for Dsquared2, alongside Anja Rubik and Maryna Linchuk. In addition Tanya Dziahileva was announced as the new face of Ralph Lauren and Celine, and was photographed for BCBG Max Azria.
Mario Testino is another top photographer that Dziahileva posed for during a photoshoot for a D&G ad campaign that took place in 2009, in which she then also did a campaign for Lacoste.
Dziahileva’s latest ad campaign was for the 2011 Spring Escada Sport collection.
Apart from rocking the runways, Tanya Dziahileva likes to pose for the cameras. Who knows, maybe once her modelling days will be over, she’ll turn into an up and coming talented fashion photographer...
