First Face - #7 Karlie Kloss - First Face Countdown Fall 2012

Karlie Kloss is #7 on our First Face countdown for Fall/Winter 2012-2013. She was #9 on the list for Spring 2012. Her modeling agency is NEXT. Kloss was born in Chicago, Illinois but grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where she studied ballet. That may have helped her become known for her signature walk and theatrical style. This season, due to a prior engagement which is rumored to have been a commercial, Kloss was absent for New York, London, and Milan Fashion Week. Still, she was a fixture in Paris, walking in 15 shows and opening Anthony Vaccarello, Elie Saab, Kenzo, and Paul & Joe. She also walked in shows like Balmain and Christian Dior. She's only been modeling for 5 years.
