3D Dsquared2 Fall/Winter 2012-13 Backstage & Show - Milan Fashion Week in 3D!

MILAN - The popping playfulness of Dsquared2 comes out in 3D at Milan Fashion Week where Dean and Dan Caten showcase their Fall/Winter 2012-2013 collection as they wear their own playful green velvet tuxedos with bow ties. The runway looks like a gym of a school from the 60s. "It's the final year of high school," the designers tell FashionTV, "So it starts off a little casual, there's denim, there's sweaters and then the show evolves, the light comes down, the disco ball comes on and there are prom dresses, there is evening wear, cocktail, beaded, sexy, gorgeous." The duo note they've recently launched their first collection of Dsquared2 handbags for women.
"There's sort of a Peggy Lee/Lana Del Ray vibe about it," Makeup Artist Charlotte Tilbury tells FashionTV of the look for this collection, which was very 60s prom. "Lana Del Ray was a big inspiration," she explains, capturing the look with foundation, powder, matte, arched brows, and liquid liner to create cat eye shapes.
The 60s theme is captured in a colorful statement with pieces like retro costumes and prom-inspired gowns coming out under a glittery disco ball. Bubble gum pop, mohair sweaters, cropped pants, striped mink, lame, and denim are all seen here.
