MILAN - FashionTV goes backstage to the Alberta Ferretti Spring/Summer 2013 fashion show which kicked off Milan Fashion Week and we've got the exclusive just for you! Models are in the midst of fittings, hair and makeup, while waiting for the big evening to start. We caught up with the Italian designer herself, Alberta Ferretti as she tells us about her inspiration for the latest collection.. "Light is a very important element, creating lovely reflections, I'd say that we have a dream-like woman who is very modern, though as the shapes and silhouettes are up to the minute", says Ferretti. Organza and sheer fabrics were the foundation for the collection creating divine elegant gowns with sparkling embellishments and sexy cuts. Model Daria Strokous shares her love for the designer, "She always makes you feel very feminine, it's just very nice, very beautiful!", she explains.
