NEW YORK - Designer Joseph Altuzarra took drapings and prints to a whole new level at his Spring/Summer 2013 collection during New York Fashion Week. The designer has a lot to live up to...after all he recently won a coveted CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award for emerging talent in womenswear. Plus Kate Bosworth AND Jessica Chastain were in the front row. So did he do it? Altuzarra clearly proved he's a talented tailor as his models walked down the runway in menswear infused trousers, oversized outerwear, low necklines, slits, collared blouses, exotic drapes and plenty of fringes. Shades for this season include neutral tones, gold, blue, white, gray and floral prints. The lineup consisted of sophisticated, masculine yet feminine outerwear full of structured blazers, slim fitting skirts, rich fabrics, pin-striped button downs and stunning knee-high gladiator footwear! Models wore their masculine balzers with hands in their pockets.
