NEW YORK - Recreation of the 1930's classic A Midsummer Night's Dream, was the perfect motivation for duo designers James Mischka and Mark Badgley as they showcased their Badgley Mischka Spring/Summer 2013 collection during New York Fashion Week. With top models walking down the runway looking like fairies, the show offered the audience a perfect interpretation of nature's glamorous ways. The catwalk included a foggy forest backdrop to set the mood. The dazzling catwalk included a mix of romantic and very elegant styles such as gauzy down-to-the-floor gowns decorated in crystal embellishments, knee-length skirts, skinny tweed pants, detailed frocks and plenty of hologram effects. Rich, structured separates and sherbet hues all created a very impressive evening wear collection. Most importantly, the fabrics, including brocades and lace, were lush. The collection, which included top model Erin O'Connor, was simply relaxed, elegant, and sophisticated.
