Classic English Regal: Daks Fall/Winter 2012/13 Show at London Fashion Week LFW

LONDON - Daks may have had a successful and signature past, but Fall/Winter 2012-2013 was all about renewing and revamping for the heritage brand at London Fashion Week. As designer Sheila McKain-Waid quietly took over Spring 2012, she did so without much fanfare. Guess it was time to pull out all the stops for Fall, especially where English fashion is concerned. Daks is known for its devout English quality and its 130-year history, which McKain-Waid took full advantage of, despite the fact that she's American. There was a classic English regal, especially with the checkered English patterns which were a bit overboard. Elsewhere, wide leg pants and English raincoats were in abundance. Oh and top models were, too, including Bette Franke, who opened and closed the show.
