Dsquared2 Spring/Summer 2013: Dean & Dan Caten Backstage at Milan Men's Fashion Week

MILAN - Designers Dean & Dan Caten held no standards this season for the DSquared2 Spring/Summer 2013 collection during Milan Fashion Week. It was a sexy dark collection backstage, as models were in the middle of their fittings and FashionTV caught up with the duo designers to talk about the theme. "It's very accessorized, a lot of layers, also a scuba twist to it and there's a lot of sports elements involved. It's a very graphic and bold statement", the designers explain. Presenting their own rebellious spin, the designers added gothic embellishments, layered black necklaces and finished off with black leather. The dark collection also included bold accents, collared t-shirts, studded belts, denim jeans and vests. "Shirts are playing a big role this time. A great shirt can make a statement, but the black trousers are the staple of this show," designers Dean and Dan Caten tell us. As for hair and makeup, the boys were being groomed backstage preparing to rock an alpha bon ton style with sleek straight hair and some bronze powder.
