NEW YORK - A woman can be tough and soft at the same time. This is what designer Sharon Wauchob is trying to imply with her Spring/Summer 2013 collection for Edun at New York Fashion Week. The label, which was founded by U2 rocker Bono and his wife Ali Hewson, still carried over its appeal of an ethical fashion brand encouraging trade in Africa by focusing on their fondness for the elements, showcasing a number of pieces in military and olive green, and their typical edgy grunge. Showing off midriffs this year, Edun's urban warrior this year was sexy, too but there was a softer side. Feminine digital prints, floral, and revealing necklines were also part of the collection mixed with biker jackets, cargo shorts, and zip ups.
