First Look - Fendi Spring/Summer 2013 ft Karl Lagerfeld | Milan Fashion Week

MILAN - Fendi's colorful, geometric-shaped line for Spring/Summer 2013 gets an indepth look on FashionTV. The line designed by Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini Fendi is always a hit at Milan Fashion Week. According to Makeup Artist Peter Philips, the eyes for the runway show have three shades including black on the outer corner and a brighter shade on the inner corner. "The best way to get those colors in the makeup is to use the fabrics," says Philips, who took cut fabrics from the bathing suits and glued it under the eye. According to Hairstylist Sam McKnight, the hair is small, damp, shiny, and square shaped, but dynamic. It is accompanied by a Fendi headband. Karl Lagerfeld calls the collection a modern version of Memphis. Amanda Harlech calls it an "explosion of dimensions." Color blocking, paint splattered prints, and metallics are the themes of the day.
