First Look - Gucci Fall 2012 ft Anja Rubik and Natasha Poly at Milan Fashion Week

MILAN - The dark and gothic romance-themed collection from Gucci made an impact on the runway this Fall/Winter 2012-2013 at Milan Fashion Week. FashionTV has your inside look at how the whole show came to be. There were also some Oriental motifs in the embroidery and the choice of silk, which appealed to models like Aymeline Valade. "I love Gucci and I think Gucci was better than any show I've seen before," says Franca Sozzani, Editor-In-Chief of Vogue Italia. She described it as very feminine, very soft, less aggressive in a sort of way. Others liked the color palette, the mood, the richness of the brocade, and fabrics and the romance from the last century. Top model Alek Wek had a front row seat and said she liked the way the colors were used and the texture. The collection was full of capes, furs, and dark florals. Many called it a new look for the Gucci woman.
