Incredible Hair at McQ by Alexander McQueen Fall 2012 - Behind The Scenes | London FW

Fall 2012 http://www.FashionTV.com/videos LONDON - The models are elaborate backstage at McQ by Alexander McQueen show where they have pale skin, pink and purple shadows in their eyes (almost making them look like zombies), pale pink lips, and hair thick and tightly wrapped around their heads like a shtreimel, a fur hat worn by some Orthodox Jewish men. Model Alla Kostromichova explains how they did the elaborate hair for the show, which is wrapped around her head. "There's a piece inside, just to hold the shape," she says, "But all what you see is my real hair." It's like a ponytail that goes around and under, she tells FashionTV. "I have a lot of hair so it took 2 hours." In her first season on the runway, Kostromichova opened the Alexander McQueen show.
