Lisa Blue Swimwear ft Karina Smirnoff & Bikini Models | Miami Swim Spring/Summer 2013

MIAMI - Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim is kicked off with the Lisa Blue collection for the Spring/Summer 2013 season. The show at The Raleigh Hotel in Miami Beach kicked off the fashion week on July 19, 2012. This Australian swimwear label is for girls who want to be sexy, powerful, and eco-friendly at the same time. The label donates 25% of all online profits towards whale and dolphin protection programs. At the same time, the theme "Year of The Dragon" exuded that powerful aura the label is known for and Burke explained it's also about transformation and breakthrough. The line had one special guest walking the runway--Dancing with The Stars dancer Karina Smirnoff. Other special guests included David Charvet and Brooke Burke, sitting in the front row. Lisa Blue founder Lisa Burke looked somewhere along the lines of a hot beachgoer and a Las Vegas showgirl. Models walked slowly in monokinis with cut outs, high waist bikinis, swimsuits with bell sleeves, and themes that ranged from cowgirl to sailor to Spanish flamenco dancer prevailed.
