LONDON - This season, designer Maria Grachvogel continued to use her signature silhouettes and shapes, yet decided to arrive with a cleaner and lighter collection than ever before. Her Spring/Summer 2013 collection, which was showcased at London Fashion Week, began with monochromatic tones of the trendy black and white pattern. Shortly after, her pieces started transforming to earthy mushroom tones even with some hints of Autumn's best colors. Other palettes included crisp luminescent whites, opal pinks and sunray yellows. Sheer fabrics, tailored separates and even panelled swimwear took the catwalk by storm, all to the inspiration of 1960s glamour. Grachvogel revealed her mastery in pattern making and cutting with stripped down necklines and organza wide-legged pants. Nothing was far from minimal, especially the models' brilliant set of braids that merged into one and neutral makeup.
