LONDON - The tough elegant woman is a common trend we've been seeing throughout the fashion weeks this year, but Marios Schwab has sent his women to battle. Schwab's Spring/Summer 2013 fashion show during London Fashion Week was all about the inner warrior inside these models. The designer drew inspiration from Greek heritage and the bee's honey. Schwab created pleated dresses that tightly hug the body which resembles body armor, as well as embellished shirts, black leather and metallic fringes. Greek culture was not the only reference for his latest collection, it was the atmosphere of the wild Amazons and Navajos. That explains the heavy eye makeup and long pin straight hair. Schwab also incorporated sparkled looks and hints of light pink and dark blue, for that striking princess look. Marios Schwab did an excellent job presenting a collection that reflects a world reassessing its values by searching through its own heritage.
