MILAN - FashionTV is backstage at the Frankie Morello show during Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013. Model Valerija Sestic says Milan is her favorite city for fashion week because she really loves the shows there. She describes a typical day in the life of a model during fashion week as well as her 3 looks for the show. The girls are getting an interesting and dramatic violet look for their eyes with light purple set in between two lines of dark purple. Hairstylist Marco Iafrate says the look is simple for hair. "It's very graphic, very minimal," he says, "We started with a middle parting and just a simple ponytail, but the ponytail has a lot of details." Girls wear extensions so they look like each other. According to Frankie Morello designers Pierfrancesco Gigliotti and Maurizio Modica the inspiration for the collection is ballet. "We sought inspiration from the costumes of Oskar Schlemmer's Triadic Ballet, therefore the composition and breakdown of the triangle into a shape, material, and colour, mixed with a warmer and more sensual found in the wrestling world." This means wrestling mask cuts are mixed with super-geometric outfits.
