Over-The-Top Haute Couture: Hair & Makeup Backstage at Alexis Mabille Spring 2012

http://www.FTV.com/videos PARIS - Alexis Mabille's Spring/Summer 2012 collection at Paris Couture Fashion Week might be fairly simple in design but the makeup is anything but! Tissue papered flowers are on models' heads, held up by their own hair. Their faces are painted the same color as their dress. Watch as the makeup artists put a moisturizer base on the girls' faces for prep before they paint them. The designer himself walks backstage in a sequined silver jacket to check on his ladies as they do a rehearsal.
