Mulberry's 40th Anniversary Party, celebrating 40 years of the British brand. "We're at the Mulberry party in New York for New York Fashion Week and I'm here because apparently I love partying, New York, and Mulberry." She calls Mulberry a classic, timeless brand that people respect for its longevity and designs that never go out of fashion. She wears a Mulberry trench, her Mulberry Alexa bag and Mulberry trousers. "It's iconic because it's very old items," adds Anna Dello Russo from Vogue Japan, "Because in fashion history, the memory's so short and if you have heritage, if you have tradition, it's a good for building a brand for the people." Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal calls Mulberry bags really classic, elegant, and useful. "I think they do the most exquisite bags," adds actress Rose Byrne.
At the Mulberry Spring/Summer 2012 collection runway show at London Fashion Week, the front row is teeming with big stars like model Kate Moss and Kristen Stewart from Twilight. The two stars, along with English actresses Romola Garai, Hayley Atwell, Laura Bailey, and DJ/musician Harley Viera-Newton watch as the Mulberry models swing by in bee hive-inspired 60s hairdos, British summertime florals, and Mulberry's newest handbag, the Tillie! Other looks by Mulberry creative director Emma Hill and co. include bright yellow, long tulle skirts, more evening wear, and beautiful beaded dresses. Mulberry also held an after party at the Claridges Hotel after their successful runway show. Stars like models Amber Le Bon, Erin O'Connor, singer Kelis, fashionista/socialite Olivia Palermo, make an appearance and talk about their love for Mulberry.
