NEW YORK - This season, designer Narciso Rodriguez was eager to show off all his new statements during his Spring/Summer 2013 fashion show at New York Fashion Week. With models walking in from every angle, Rodriguez's collection included some surprise detailing like laminated wood paillettes, shimmering floral patterns, pantsuits, slouchy trousers and a few daring slip dresses. The designer decided to play around with colors for Spring, gracing hues of magenta, teal, pink, orange and of course, the biggest trend of the season, black and white solids. Sheer shirts included necklines that plunged all the way down to the navel--very risky for Rodriguez, but well done! Jackets without closures looked very refreshing and swirled embellishments added that extra oomph.
