LONDON - It was not your typical black and white pattern at the Peter Pilotto Spring/Summer 2013 fashion show during London Fashion Week. It was simply more creative. Designers Christopher De Vas and Peter Pilotto took digital prints to a whole new level while also creating sculptural peplums and other shapes. The duo designers evolved their prints three-dimensionally and included more volume, flared sleeves and ruffles to their silhouettes. Flounces on the full skirted dresses were added too, emphasising more lift in these dresses. Overall, the collection was an overload of print on print on print, making it one of the most buzzed about shows of London Fashion Week. Silhouettes were dramatic with high slit hemlines, psychedelic prints and textural beading, all promoting that eccentric glamour of the label.
