NEW YORK - This year at New York Fashion Week, designer Rebecca Taylor reveals the urban hippie inside her during her Spring/Summer 2013 fashion show. For her upcoming collection, beachy sophistication meets sporty trend where Taylor delivered Hawaiian florals, sheer slipdresses, feminine tones like coral, lilac, violets and creams and plenty of shirtwaist dresses. The urban inspiration was derived from a Summer spent in the city and her dream of escaping to the exotic islands of Hawaii and so her vision manifested on the runway. Taylor focused on everything from chiffon dresses to structured blazers with peplums. What was even more dreamy were all the sparkling embellishments such as studs and sequins all over the t-shirts. Models also sported some simple denim tops, dresses and a jeans jumpsuit for a very sun-kissed style. Taylor's sweet and romantic trademark clearly never went out of style.
