Savile Rock! Moschino Men Fall/Winter 2012/13 Full Show at Milan Men's Fashion Week

http://www.FTV.com/videos MILAN - Funny how Moschino's Rossella Jardini always seem to go for the over-the-top colors and out-of-the-box boldness, but still manages to showcase the panache she has for tailoring that makes her label one of the best. There was a London vibe about this collection--punky bowler hats, brick suiting (ironically, Gaultier had them, too)...but there was also something different and new about Moschino. It was like the label was rebuilding itself, keeping that signature cartoonish character but with new ways of bringing it to the forefront like patches, exposed seams, and loud blaring graphic colors in new color combinations. Funny how the walls were bare on the brick jackets at first, but by the end they were tagged with graffiti. Moschino can be so smart and so funny at the same time. Jardini and menswear designer Bill Shapiro called the collection Savile Rock because they wanted to perfect the tailoring (Savile Row) but at some point got bored (Rock.)
