LONDON - Perhaps the most important things to take away from the John Rocha collection during London Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012-2013 are his panels of color block, his mix of tough leather with other fabrics, his strips of feather embellishment, his lace and big sleeves, and his colorful oversize balls of chiffon fabric as a top or short dress. While mostly black, Fall leaf colors like yellow and green make a statement. There's something quite tough and urban about this collection, with elements of goth in a tattered way from the frayed edges to the messy model hair. Over-exaggerated is juxtaposed with sleek and sultry.
