Y-3 Fall/Winter 2012/13 Show ft Frida Gustavsson, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Daria Strokous NYFW

NEW YORK - The West went to the East in Y-3's Fall/Winter 2012/13 collection. Models, including the likes of Hanne Gaby Odiele and Frida Gustavsson, strutted down a runway covered in an array of Persian carpets, as they showcased Yohji Yamamoto's designs. This season, the Yamamoto and Adidas collaboration featured asymmetrical garments in textures and prints that combined Western design with Eastern notions. The muted mosses and burgundies were combined with Sherpa head-wear and leopard prints. The most unique part of the collection was Yamamoto's mix of the leopard print with oriental inspired borders. Models Mirte Maas and Mackenzie Drazan also sported gorgeous looks, topped off with fedoras in a quintessential Y-3 center print.
